Function and Responsibilities:

GFZ Research Fellow in der Arbeitsgruppe 4.3  Geoenergy
  • Development of a coupled THMC-coupled diagenesis model of the Muschelkalk for geothermal evaluation

Skills & Expertise
I specialize in numerical modeling and simulation with a focus on geomechanics and rock mechanics. My technical expertise includes the use of the MOOSE Framework for FEM-based simulations on high-performance computing (HPC) systems. I have experience in constitutive modeling, inelastic analysis, and THM-coupled processes for subsurface and reservoir applications. My work involves coupled physics modeling, subsurface modeling, reservoir data analysis, and parameter optimization, with a strong foundation in Python for data processing and automation.

Research Interests:

  • Subsurface Problem and Modeling
  • Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)
  • Rock and Geomechanics: Inelastic and damage process
  • Numerical Simulation of Tunnels and Caverns
  • Geothermics
