The Geothermal Congress (DGK) 2025 – GFZ traditionally ideal Partner
Following last year's successful congress in Potsdam with around 1200 participants, the Geothermal Congress (DGK) 2025 will take place in Frankfurt am Main from 18 to 20 November. The GFZ is helping to organise the most important congress on geothermal energy in Germany as a member of the scientific committee and with numerous contributions to the scientific programme as well as a stand in the accompanying exhibition.
The DGK is the central industry meeting for all those involved in geothermal energy from a scientific, economic or political perspective. The thematic spectrum ranges from deep, medium-depth and shallow geothermal energy to heat and cold storage and topics relating to energy and research policy.
This year, the DGK is once again focussing in particular on promoting young scientists. Young scientists are invited to present their research findings to a specialist audience in the lecture programme or in the Science Bar poster competition.
Abstracts can be submitted until 30 June 2025.
