Welcome Dr.Yijun Wang in our section!

Yijun starts as a postdoctoral researcher in our section. She will work on the coupling between research software used at different GFZ sections. In particular she will advance the coupling of ASPECT and FastScape by accounting for the transfer of lithological information. Previously, she studied the effect of anisotropic viscosity of olivine in subduction models and worked on implementing the anisotropic viscosity material model in ASPECT.
