We are delighted to welcome Hang Qian to our section!

Hang will be working in our section as a doctoral student at the Free University of Berlin on a CSC scholarship. His research interests lie in geodynamic modeling, with a particular focus on inverse problems, as well as probabilistic modeling and Bayesian statistics and their application in the geosciences. He holds bachelor's degrees in geology and mathematics, and a master's degree in computational geodynamics from Peking University.
