Geomagnetic intensity at 2025.0 — The ﬁgure shows the modelled surface intensity at 2025.0 showing the South Atlantic Anomaly has deepened by around 150 nT over ﬁve years and moved westward around 20 km per year. The modelled minimum total ﬁeld value in 2025.0 at the Earth’s surface of 22,071 nT is at 26.223 °S, 60.028 °W in northeastern Argentina. *(IAGA MOD-V Working Group)*

The 14^th generation of International Geomagnetic Reference Field (IGRF) was released on 11/19/2024. GFZ submitted candidate models for DGRF, IGRF and SV for IGRF14 and was part of the evaluation team.
