Data Scientist – Section 3.2 Organic Geochemistry

Focused on advancing the application of machine learning techniques to enhance the usability and interpretation of FT-ICR-MS data. Responsibilities include developing a unified, interactive database to integrate all geochemical analyses conducted in the section over the past 15 years, supporting both historical and ongoing research initiatives.

• Utilizing machine learning for tasks such as noise removal and identifying meaningful signals in complex datasets.
• Explainable AI to ensure transparency and interpretability in scientific applications.
• Cross-disciplinary research (i.e. connecting ancient deep crustal structures with recent geodynamic processes).
• Scientific programming to support innovative solutions in geoscience research.
