Arnd Heumann is Head of Strategic Themes in the Team of the Scientific Executive Director at the GFZ Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences. He contributes to the strategic development of GFZ, helping advance institutional strategy processes, informing decision-making and developing analyses to support institutional priorities.
His career combines academic research with research management, international collaboration, innovation and technology transfer, and strategic coordination. These experiences provide a broad perspective on research organisations and the factors that influence their long-term development.
