SOLVE
The Helmholtz-project SOLVE develops integrated strategies for sustainable catchment-scale water management using the Elbe River Basin as a model by bringing together fragmented data and management approaches. The project aims to deliver practical solutions for optimized water management while fostering long-term exchange between scientists and stakeholders.

MOMENTplus
The BMFTR-project MOMENTplus investigates how vegetation, soil microorganisms, and environmental conditions interact to control greenhouse gas cycling in Arctic permafrost ecosystems. At GFZ, the project focuses on interactions between vegetation, hydrology, and microbial communities to improve our understanding of carbon and nitrogen cycling and support Earth system modeling.
