Research Interests:

I  am a geophysicist using seismogeodesy to understand the Earth's deformation and earthquakes. I currently work at the GFZ Helmholtz Centre  in Potsdam, as part of the Hazard and Risk Dynamics Team.

My work aims to integrate space geodesy (especially GNSS) and seismology to better understand why and where earthquakes occur. I am particularly interested in the links between the water cycle and seismotectonics, with the goal of quantifying the impact of climate variability and change on earthquake hazard. I tackle such problems along the Chilean subduction zone and the North Anatolian Fault, combining GNSS time series, seismic data, and source inversion techniques to analyze seismic and aseismic deformation.

My research topics are:

• Earthquake Cycle

• Earthquake Preparation Phase

• Seismogeodesy

• Seismic and Aseismic slip source inversion

• Water Cycle and earthquake hazard assessment.
