Career:

Extensive experience in the international education sector and administration (school principal, head of international department and chancellor of a private university of applied sciences in Berlin, head of administration at the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation). At GFZ since December 2025.

Education:

Studied law in Saarbrücken (no degree), then Modern Sinology in Heidelberg and Shanghai with minors in public law and German language and literature (Germanistik). Master's degree (Magister) in 2012.
