Function and Responsibilities:

PhD student working at GFZ-Potsdam (Section 4.7) under the supervision of Dr. Loraine Gourbet

Education:

2024 -   : PhD candidate in Earth Sciences (VU Amsterdam/GFZ-Potsdam)

2022 - 2024: MSc. in Geography (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro)

2016 - 2020: BSc. in Geography (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro)

Projects:

RELICT project (Relief, sediment and tectonics: What is the role of sediment supply and inherited relief in modulating transient adjustment to tectonics?), supervised by Dr. Benjamin Campforts, Dr. Duna Roda-Boluda and Dr. Loraine Gourbet. In this project I focus on modelling hillslope sediment dynamics in tectonically active landscapes. One of my objectives is to understand the relative contribution of different hillslope processes (e.g., post-fire erosion, landslides) to overall catchment-average sediment fluxes.
