Function and Responsibilities:

reseacher at the radiogenic isotope lab

Research Interests:

My research is in the field of isotope geochemistry, tectonics and metamorphic petrology.

I am using isotope ratios and trace elements in minerals - like monazite, titanite, white mica - to understand fluid-rock-interaction and deformation during subduction and exhumation of continental crust.

Within POF IV, I contribute to Topic 3 (Restless Earth)

Projects:

Dating Deformation Increments with high resolution using LASS Monazite petrochronology

Wawrzenitz, Krohe, Kylander-Clark, Romer, Grasemann

Tracing and Dating fluid-rock interaction/metasomatism with titanite by combining in-situ U-Pb, Sr isotope and trace element data

Wawrzenitz, Romer, Kylander-Clark
