Function and Responsibilities:

My research focuses on assessing and validating land cover change using high spatiotemporal land cover products and exploring their applicability for carbon inventory accounting to provide reliable information for policymakers on area estimates in the AFOLU sector and Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN). The research project is affiliated with GFZ and conducted in collaboration with Wageningen University (WUR) in the Netherlands.
