Global water availability is one of the biggest challenges associated with climate change. Since 2023, the knowledge transfer team has been working with scientists from various areas of the center to operate the information platform globalwaterstorage.info.

The platform presents data from the GRACE satellite missions, which have been reliably measuring global water availability via changes in the Earth's gravity field for more than 20 years, to a non-scientific audience, media representatives and policy makers.

The Earthquake Information platform aimed at interested parties, those affected, media representatives and the general public alike. Various formats are provided: in addition to a video that explains how to use the Earthquake Explorer, fact sheets and practical brochures with rules of conduct in the event of an earthquake or tsunami are available for download.
