Prof. Dr. Youyue Zhang of the Geodynamics Research Center (Ehime, Japan) visited GFZ's Section 3.4 in the period of 17.02 to 27.02 2025 as part of the exchange program funded by the government of Japan. She is collaborating with Dr. Sergey Lobanov, Dr. Enrico Marzotto, and Dr. Sergio Speziale to better constrain the thermal conductivity of mantle minerals and explore its implications for the mantle dynamics.
