Project Manager for the European Horizon MSCA Doctoral Network TALENTS

Research Interests:

I am interested in changes in process, practices and structures to moderate potential damages or to benefit from opportunities associated with climate change.

Career:

I am trained in tourism with a specialization in natural attractions and worked as an ecotourism planner for the Porto Alegre City Hall and as an ecotourism guide in national parks and preservation areas in central, south and southeastern Brazil. This activity awakened my interest in Geology, specializing in sedimentary petrology during my training at UFRGS, which led me to work at Petrobras in the exploration area. Later, my interest in structural geology and tectonics took me to the Andes, where I worked as a researcher studying the Farallón Negro Volcanic Complex in Catamarca (Argentina) and worked as a teaching assistant in Geochemistry and Structural Geology in the Geology and Paleontology career at UNRN.
Since our family move to Potsdam in 2017, I had the opportunity to work as coordinator of the StRATEGy Project (DFG-CONICET) and the Binational PhD Career (Natural Hazards and Geological Field Studies) under the scientific coordination of Dr. Manfred Strecker (Uni Potsdam). I am currently working as a project manager in the Horizon MSCA -TALENTS project, and I am very happy to be part of a project that seeks sustainable solutions for the energy transition.
