I am interested in changes in process, practices and structures to moderate potential damages or to benefit from opportunities associated with climate change.

Karriere:

Ich habe eine Ausbildung im Bereich Tourismus mit einer Spezialisierung auf Naturattraktionen und arbeitete als Ökotourismusplaner für die Stadtverwaltung von Porto Alegre und als Ökotourismusführer in Nationalparks und Schutzgebieten in Zentral-, Süd- und Südostbrasilien. Diese Tätigkeit weckte mein Interesse an der Geologie, wobei ich mich während meiner Ausbildung an der UFRGS auf Sedimentpetrologie spezialisierte, was dazu führte, dass ich bei Petrobras im Bereich der Exploration arbeitete. Später führte mich mein Interesse an Strukturgeologie und Tektonik in die Anden, wo ich als Forscher den Vulkankomplex Farallón Negro in Catamarca (Argentinien) untersuchte und als Lehrassistent für Geochemie und Strukturgeologie im Studiengang Geologie und Paläontologie an der UNRN arbeitete.
Seit dem Umzug unserer Familie nach Potsdam im Jahr 2017 hatte ich die Möglichkeit, als Koordinatorin des StRATEGy-Projekts (DFG-CONICET) und der Binationalen Doktorandenlaufbahn (Naturgefahren und Geologische Feldforschung) unter der wissenschaftlichen Koordination von Dr. Manfred Strecker (Uni Potsdam) zu arbeiten. Derzeit arbeite ich als Projektmanagerin im Horizon MSCA -TALENTS Projekt und freue mich sehr, Teil eines Projekts zu sein, das nach nachhaltigen Lösungen für die Energiewende sucht.
