Function and Responsibilities:

Research Interests:

My research focuses on which mechanisms determine the success or failure of rift systems. I will investigate this using 2D and 3D ASPECT models coupled to surface processes (FastScape), fault networks (Fatbox), etc.

In the later stages of the project, the idea is to combine data from the field to refine the simulation approach.

Within the MSCA my project creates a fusion of the insights obtained by other DC research projects.
