Section 4.3 | Geoenergy

Geoenergy laboratories

The geoenergy laboratories include measuring equipment for determining the thermal-hydraulic-mechanical-chemical-electrical (THMCE) properties of the subsurface.

Thermal Petrophysics Lab

Determination of thermal rock properties (thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, heat capacity, thermal expansion) of geomaterials (rocks, minerals, soil) under ambient and/or reservoir conditions.

Fluid Monitoring Lab

The lab contains devices that can be used to monitor chemical and physicochemical parameters in natural and synthetic geothermal fluids.

Hydrogen Laboratory

For our research on hydrogen storage, we operate a dedicated, separate hydrogen laboratory.
