Research associate / PhD candidate with focus on multiphysics reactive transport in geothermal and underground energy storage systems.
Current research include:
- Supporting the development, validation, and documentation of open-source multiphysics reactive transport software (GOLEM-PHREEQC) for geotechnical application
- Evaluating the long-term sustainability of thermal and metal harvesting from geothermal fluids in crystalline fractured rocks (Southwest England)
- Assessing the impacts of geochemical processes on underground thermal energy storage in Triassic sandstone (West Berlin)
Wissenschaftliche Interessen:
Main areas of interests include:
- multiphysics modeling of reservoir engineering concepts in geoenergy, with a focus on hydraulics and geochemistry
- exploration and characterization of geothermal resources
- management and optimization of geoenergy concepts
