Personalia | Prof. Friedhelm von Blanckenburg is appointed as a Geochemical Fellow

Prof. Friedhelm von Blanckenburg, Head of GFZ section Earth Surface Geochemistry, is appointed today as a “Geochemical Fellow” by the US Geochemical Society and the European Association of Geochemistry. The fellowship is awarded at the international Goldschmidt conference in Yokohama, Japan.

29.06.2016: Prof. Friedhelm von Blanckenburg, Head of GFZ section Earth Surface Geochemistry, is appointed today as a “Geochemical Fellow” by the US Geochemical Society and the European Association of Geochemistry. The fellowship is awarded at the international Goldschmidt conference in Yokohama, Japan.

The Geochemical Fellows are appointed since 1996, to honor their “outstanding contribution to the field of geochemistry”. Every year about ten fellows from all over the world are awarded with the honory title.(ak)
