The Ralph Alger Bagnold Medal is awarded to Friedhelm von Blanckenburg

On Tuesday 04.05.2010, Prof. Dr. Friedhelm von Blanckenburg, Head of GFZ-Section 3.4, the Ralph Alger Bagnold Medal is awarded to Friedhelm von Blanckenburg for the innovative nature and breadth of his geomorphological studies using cosmogenic isotopes on occasion of the EGU General Assembly 2010.

The medal is named after the Britisch geomorphologist Ralph Bagnold.
